Lenny's - Best Breakfast in Florida
So I am catching up a lot of posts which I have been sitting on for a while – hence the late post from earlier this year (actually May). ...
Good Food and Fun
We eat – That’s what we do. Over the next weeks, months, or even years, you will get to eat alongside us through pictures and words. I don’t know why I am doing this, other than because friends and family of ours really love to live vicariously through what and where we eat. My wife and I are very lucky in two ways. First, we have the opportunity to travel more than most. This affords us the opportunity to go to some very interesting eateries that others would love to try but won’t ever say “let's travel to Pittsburgh,” or you actually might be traveling there and want some ideas on what’s good. Secondly, we are fortunate to live in the best food state in the country, you can’t deny it – Louisiana wins the food sweepstakes. You start with the grand jewel, New Orleans, and you don’t stop there traveling through, such food places as Houma, Baton Rouge, Lafayette and even Raine, Broussard and Breaux Bridge. New Orleans alone has over 1000 restaurants and close to 300 of them have received 3 stars or more from some publications - - and that doesn’t include the dives that make this an amazing place.
Now don’t expect this to be all about the Commander’s Palaces of the world, because we love dives like Domelise’s and Russell’s Marina Grill just as well. So you will get the best of both worlds. When we have down time, we will revisit some of the old places we have already been to with the help of Facebook's photos and our memories of the time we had.
If you like what you read, comment and let us know! If you want us to check out someplace in New Orleans for you ahead of a visit or have recommendations for other places we are planning to go, by all means your queries and suggestions will be taken into consideration. So sit back and let those mouths water and hopefully you will enjoy this as much as we do.
